Glass Chip Batch
Mass Production of Glass Microfluidic Chips
As an emerging experimental platform, the microfluidic chip can be highly integrated and implement conventional and even more complex medical, chemical, environmental, and other experimental operations, not only simplifying and shortening experimental operations, but also avoiding many dangerous experiments. The commonly used microfluidic chip materials include PDMS, PMMA, PC, glass, quartz, and silicon. The glass has good optical properties, hydrophilic properties, and stable properties. Therefore, it has become one of the most widely used microfluidic chip materials. .
In the chemical industry, a large number of acids, alkalis, and organic reagents are often used. Glass is a good chemical-resistant material. In organic experiments that require the use of acids and bases, it must be the first choice for microfluidic chip substrates. Many biochemical tests using microfluidic chips can get good results, but the application of scale is limited by the price of the chip. The demand for microfluidic chips in the chemical industry has grown to a geometric growth. Mass production of glass-based microfluidic chips is a major technical bottleneck.
Wenxi independently developed the batch hot-press molding process for semi-automatic and automatic glass microfluidic chips, realizing semi-automatic or fully automated mass production of glass substrate microfluidic chips quickly, achieving mass production and satisfying customers. The demand for batch production of glass microfluidic chips.
Semi-automatic mass production: The use of semi-automatic glass chip batch hot press molding process, the production capacity of 25 die / 8 hours, a single chip production of up to 500, annual production of 180,000.
Fully-auomatic mass production: It adopts automatic glass microfluidic chip batch hot-press molding technology, with a production capacity of 200 dies/8 hours, a daily chip processing volume of up to 4,000, and an annual output of 1.5 million pieces.
